# Claude Project Assistant - Library (AI-readable)

Plain markdown, no JavaScript. Version 20261102a. 42 features, 42 skills. Every link is relative to this file and resolves as written.

**Full catalog with descriptions, dependency reasoning and versioning philosophy:** [data/index.md](data/index.md) (same features, more explanation, meant for a person or a fuller AI read).

## How this works

A person hands this link to an AI. The AI fetches the feature the person names, by ID, and follows that feature's Assess, Ask, Write and Confirm steps. Nothing installs automatically: each write happens only after the person names a feature and answers its questions.

There are two doors to every feature, from the same record:

1. Read it: `id/FTR-NN.md` is the full specification as plain markdown (also `id/FTR-NN.json`).
2. Install it: `skills/<skill-name>/SKILL.md` is the same feature as a skill, for agents that support skills; `skills/manifest.json` lists every file with its sha256, and `skills/zips/` holds downloads.

Integrity: `MANIFEST.sha256` lists the sha256 of every file in this version. Setup steps a person does by hand are under `howto/`. Standing rules (install-time file safety, merge philosophy and others) are under `docs/`.

## Foundation

These seven features (FTR-01 through FTR-06, and FTR-15 Project Cache) are the foundation every other feature in this catalog assumes is already in place. They're listed with individual dependencies of `none` because none of them depend on each other structurally — but in practice, install all seven together first, before installing anything else. A project missing even one of these seven will have gaps that surface unpredictably later, not at install time.

FTR-15 (Project Cache) is here because it carries context: one folder (`project_cache\`) and one generated index (`INDEX.md`, backed by `INDEX.json`) that tell any agent in the project which cached file to read and when. It has no hard dependencies, so it installs in this first pass.

| ID | Title | Ver | Optional | What it does | Depends on | Read | Skill |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FTR-01 | Bootstrap Operating Behavior | 1.3 | No | How the bootstrap reads state, merges and enriches instead of overwriting or merely preserving, acknowledges pointer-style features, and routes unresolved gaps | none | [FTR-01.md](id/FTR-01.md) | [bootstrap-operating-behavior](skills/bootstrap-operating-behavior/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-02 | Agent Personality & Tone | 2.0 | No | Generically warm, patient tone grounded in integrity, organization, and helpfulness — no named personality, no personal contact | none | [FTR-02.md](id/FTR-02.md) | [agent-identity-and-personality](skills/agent-identity-and-personality/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-03 | Process Safeguard Standing Rule | 1.0 | No | Redirects toward real work if any single task stalls 3+ exchanges | none | [FTR-03.md](id/FTR-03.md) | [process-safeguard](skills/process-safeguard/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-04 | Agent Role & Project Identity | 1.1 | No | Project title, description, type, project code, and a project-appropriate agent role — sharpened rather than merely copied forward when existing content reads generic or thin | none | [FTR-04.md](id/FTR-04.md) | [agent-role-and-project-identity](skills/agent-role-and-project-identity/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-05 | Connectors & Capabilities | 1.0 | No | Records which connectors are live and what each enables | none | [FTR-05.md](id/FTR-05.md) | [connectors-and-capabilities](skills/connectors-and-capabilities/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-06 | File Storage & Transfer Rules | 1.0 | No | Two storage layers, canonical path, #drop\, and the no-base64 transfer rule | FTR-05 | [FTR-06.md](id/FTR-06.md) | [file-storage-and-transfer](skills/file-storage-and-transfer/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-38 | Multi-Sub-Project Awareness | 1.0 | Yes | Formalizes a project root containing multiple genuinely separate sub-projects — sub-project table, self-contained per-sub-project folders, shared root-level layer, drop-folder routing, and file-naming extension; extends FTR-07/FTR-08 rather than replacing either | FTR-07, FTR-08 (also uses, if installed: FTR-15) | [FTR-38.md](id/FTR-38.md) | [multi-sub-project-awareness](skills/multi-sub-project-awareness/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-42 | Email Account Awareness & Signature Management | 1.0 | Yes | Project-level email account selection plus a deterministic signature (and default composition style) pulled from a real sent email, dual-written into admin\EMAIL_SIGNATURE.md and inline in admin\AGENT_INSTRUCTIONS.md | none | [FTR-42.md](id/FTR-42.md) | [email-account-and-signature-management](skills/email-account-and-signature-management/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-15 | Project Cache | 2.0 | No | Foundation context contract: one cache folder (project_cache\) plus one generated index (INDEX.md, backed by INDEX.json) that tells any agent which cached file to read and when; flat staging dir with a manifest (Excel via FTR-36 when installed, otherwise markdown), explicit permanent exclusion for admin\AGENT_INSTRUCTIONS.md and CLAUDE.md, which never belong here regardless of how they turn up in a scan | none (also uses, if installed: FTR-12, FTR-13, FTR-36) | [FTR-15.md](id/FTR-15.md) | [project-cache](skills/project-cache/SKILL.md) |

| ID | Title | Ver | Optional | What it does | Depends on | Read | Skill |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FTR-13 | Document Registry | 1.1 | No | Excel-workbook tracker (via FTR-36), single source of truth, commit protocol, README, index | FTR-07, FTR-36 (also uses, if installed: FTR-38) | [FTR-13.md](id/FTR-13.md) | [document-tracker-system](skills/document-tracker-system/SKILL.md) |

## Research

*(Split out from Trackers 2026-07-09 — see CHANGELOG.md v6.0. All three depend structurally on FTR-13's tracker architecture via FTR-28, but are grouped here by what they're **for**, not by their dependency chain. See "How the research family fits together" above.)*

| ID | Title | Ver | Optional | What it does | Depends on | Read | Skill |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FTR-28 | Multi-AI Research Synthesis System | 2.0 | Yes | RS track: write a research prompt, save it to a single consistent folder, present it inline in chat for the person to copy, submit to multiple AI platforms (with friendly guardrails on making sure each submission is a genuine deep-research run, not just a normal answer), polish the results into one authoritative filed master document | FTR-13 (also uses, if installed: FTR-04, FTR-07, FTR-14, FTR-15, FTR-29, FTR-30) | [FTR-28.md](id/FTR-28.md) | [multi-ai-research-synthesis](skills/multi-ai-research-synthesis/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-30 | Cascading Research Pipeline | 1.1 | Yes | Orchestrates FTR-28 across a dependency graph of research steps — parent chain ID with numbered sub-steps, cascading and parallel dependencies, a pause-and-confirm gate so a step's output is actually loaded into context before anything depending on it runs, and a full worked example | FTR-28 (also uses, if installed: FTR-29) | [FTR-30.md](id/FTR-30.md) | [cascading-research-pipeline](skills/cascading-research-pipeline/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-32 | Cowork Orchestrated Research | 1.0 | Yes | A third execution mode alongside Deep (FTR-28) and Cascade (FTR-30) — one kickoff instruction hands Cowork a whole batch of research items (parallel or chained), and Cowork self-sequences and reports per-item as results land, instead of manual per-item submission | FTR-28 (also uses, if installed: FTR-21) | [FTR-32.md](id/FTR-32.md) | [cowork-orchestrated-research](skills/cowork-orchestrated-research/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-35 | Prompt Vetting Checklist | 1.0 | Yes | A structured, five-question review a research prompt goes through before it's considered genuinely ready to submit — role & framing, goal coverage, objective granularity, cross-reference correctness, staleness/currency flagging. A quality gate between drafting a prompt and running it through FTR-28's pipeline, on request only, not automatic | FTR-28 | [FTR-35.md](id/FTR-35.md) | [prompt-vetting-checklist](skills/prompt-vetting-checklist/SKILL.md) |

## Brand & Identity

| ID | Title | Ver | Optional | What it does | Depends on | Read | Skill |

| FTR-27 | Legal Citation Management System | 1.0 | Yes | Citation Vetting Report (CVR) tracking every legal citation through TBV/VERIFIED/FLAG/DROP status — catches hallucinated or mischaracterized AI-generated citations before filing | FTR-15 | [FTR-27.md](id/FTR-27.md) | [legal-citation-management](skills/legal-citation-management/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-29 | Legal Case Research Synthesis | 1.1 | Yes | LR track: FTR-28's engine, tied to the Master Case File instead of a generic tracker, with legal-specific case-context requirements, RS/LR track-assessment guidance, and a note on how FTR-30's chain mechanic applies to the LR track too | FTR-28 (also uses, if installed: FTR-04, FTR-27, FTR-30) | [FTR-29.md](id/FTR-29.md) | [legal-case-research-synthesis](skills/legal-case-research-synthesis/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-41 | Georgia Appellate Rules & Statutes Reference | 1.0 | Yes | Complete, primary-source-verified current text of the GA Court of Appeals Rules, GA Supreme Court Rules, and O.C.G.A. Title 5 (Appeal and Error); ships with a downloadable reference package plus a changelog — companion to FTR-37, not overlapping | none | [FTR-41.md](id/FTR-41.md) | [georgia-appellate-rules-statutes-reference](skills/georgia-appellate-rules-statutes-reference/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-37 | Legal Discovery Tracking | 1.0 | Yes | Excel tracker schema for Interrogatories/RFPs/RFAs — deterministic row-per-question tracking, Georgia discovery-cap counting rules, party-folder structure, and a 7-category strategy-document taxonomy; ships with a downloadable Georgia statutes-and-guide reference package | FTR-36 | [FTR-37.md](id/FTR-37.md) | [legal-discovery-tracking](skills/legal-discovery-tracking/SKILL.md) |

## Utility

| ID | Title | Ver | Optional | What it does | Depends on | Read | Skill |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| FTR-39 | EML Archiver (Base Capability) | 1.0 | Yes | Retrieve email as byte-authentic .eml files (Office 365 Graph API, scripted, or manual browser reconciliation fallback) and file into a permanent, labeled, chronological archive with sidecars and a manifest; ships with a downloadable toolkit (scripts + reconciliation HTML example) | none (also uses, if installed: FTR-36) | [FTR-39.md](id/FTR-39.md) | [eml-archiver](skills/eml-archiver/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-40 | Email Topic Discovery | 1.0 | Yes | Topic-scoped email discovery: define a scope (search term/domain/person), search/capture/reconcile/fetch/archive/describe pipeline nesting under FTR-39's retrieval mechanics; ships with a downloadable run-descriptor template | FTR-39 | [FTR-40.md](id/FTR-40.md) | [email-topic-discovery](skills/email-topic-discovery/SKILL.md) |

## Continuity

| FTR-20 | Cowork Integration | 1.1 | Yes | Offload a task to Cowork and bring the result back into #drop; now proactively suggests Cowork for high-volume, mechanical, low-judgment-per-item work instead of waiting to be asked | FTR-06 | [FTR-20.md](id/FTR-20.md) | [cowork-integration](skills/cowork-integration/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-21 | CLAUDE.md Cowork Context File | 2.0 | No | Root CLAUDE.md as a short generated entry file, not a mirror: it routes agents to rules, procedures and reference sliced from the agent instructions, which stay whole and are the source of truth. Adding a new rule, procedure or feature edits the instructions only; CLAUDE.md changes only when the owner approves a re-run of the conversion | FTR-06 (also uses, if installed: FTR-15, FTR-23) | [FTR-21.md](id/FTR-21.md) | [agent-md-context-file](skills/agent-md-context-file/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-34 | Repository Ledger Visualization | 1.0 | Yes | On-demand, on-brand HTML snapshot of the whole file repository — folders/files grouped into a small number of meaningful categories, rendered from a one-time-derived, locked design template rather than redesigned per request; the first feature in this catalog to use the POINTER-STYLE mechanism, with its raw HTML/CSS template and a fabricated-data live preview hosted as their own standalone asset files | none (also uses, if installed: FTR-04, FTR-13) | [FTR-34.md](id/FTR-34.md) | [repository-ledger-visualization](skills/repository-ledger-visualization/SKILL.md) |

## Health & Maintenance

| FTR-23 | Agent Instructions Sync | 1.0 | No | Keeps the Project Instructions field and the local file aligned | none | [FTR-23.md](id/FTR-23.md) | [agent-instructions-sync](skills/agent-instructions-sync/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-24 | Agent Instructions Generation & Deploy | 1.1 | No | Assembles, verifies, and deploys the instructions + housekeeping sections, enriching rather than merely preserving flagged content | none (also uses, if installed: FTR-01, FTR-04) | [FTR-24.md](id/FTR-24.md) | [agent-instructions-generation](skills/agent-instructions-generation/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-26 | Install Manifest & Reconciliation | 1.1 | No | Records what's installed and at what version; on-demand check for updates against this catalog, plus a deeper opt-in mode that compares actual implemented content against each feature's real spec page, not just version numbers | none | [FTR-26.md](id/FTR-26.md) | [install-manifest-and-reconciliation](skills/install-manifest-and-reconciliation/SKILL.md) |
| FTR-31 | Preferred MCP Instance | 1.0 | Yes | Names which MCP connector instance this project should default to when more than one of the same kind is installed, so parallel conversations don't collide — a plain preference, not a management system; commands: "show me the MCPs" and "prefer [name]" | none | [FTR-31.md](id/FTR-31.md) | [preferred-mcp-instance](skills/preferred-mcp-instance/SKILL.md) |
